Sandy’s Sewing Center Text Box: Beginning Sewing Lots of individualized instruction and help – everything you need to express your own individual style! Don't be intimidated by sewing! - start with fabric and pattern selection, sewing terminology, and discussion of basic sewing equipment. Learn the basics of machine operation and construction. You may use our machines if you let us know you need one. Patterns will be included in the class fee. Registration will be required, and a supply list & fabric requirements will be given to you at the first class. Deposit required. Beginning Sewing Learn basic sewing techniques—pattern selection & sizing, fabric selection, pattern layout and cutting, and sewing machine construction. Supplies will be discussed at the first class. 6 weeks—$60 Saturdays, 1-3pm Sept. 27, Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25, Nov. 1 Intermediate Sewing—Skirt Make a skirt with an interfaced waistband and a zipper. Call for fabric requirements.
